CheckBefor — Privacy Policy

What CheckBefor is

CheckBefor is a WordPress plugin that helps site owners audit and improve their content. When a site owner chooses "Connect with Google", the plugin can read that owner's own Google Search Console and Google Analytics data so it can show them which of their pages are indexed and how much real traffic their site receives.

What we access

CheckBefor cannot change anything in your Google account, Search Console or Analytics. All access is read-only.

How the data is used

The data is displayed only inside the site owner's own WordPress dashboard, to diagnose content and indexing problems on their own website. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with any third party.

Where the data is stored

This connection service (checkbefor.ohaxa.com) only completes the Google sign-in. Before finishing, it checks that the signed-in Google account manages the requesting website in Search Console, so access can only be delivered to the owner's own site; that list is read once and not stored. It then passes the access to the owner's WordPress site through a single-use code that expires after 60 seconds, and deletes it. It keeps no copy of anyone's tokens and no Search Console or Analytics data. The access is stored on the owner's own WordPress site, encrypted.

Google API Services User Data Policy

CheckBefor's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Click "Disconnect" in the plugin settings, or remove CheckBefor at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Either one ends access immediately.
